Founded in 1876, the Iota Iota Chapter of Sigma Chi remains one of the leading and oldest fraternities at the University of Alabama. In order to ensure that they continue to provide the same opportunities for future generations, they are engaging in a capital fundraising campaign to complete the construction of a new chapter house. With a goal of $2 million, construction has already begun on a modern facility to accommodate the University of Alabama’s rapid growth and increased interest in the Greek community, as well as compete with the many fraternities that have built new or significantly-expanded chapter houses on campus.
The new facility will include:
-
35 single-man study rooms with shared or private bathrooms
-
Enlarged dining room with 120+ capacity
-
2,500 square foot social hall
-

-

-
