The goal of the Beta Sigma Psi Chapter at Iowa State University is to attract quality Lutheran men to their fraternity. Through fraternity fundraising, they’ve addressed necessary building and fire code requirements and also committed to using practical and durable building materials, finishes, and fixtures in their chapter house. Their fraternity capital campaign also completed the following upgrades to their chapter house:
-
Expanded the house by 3,560 square feet with an addition on all three floors to accommodate increased demand for student rooms and chapter facilities
-
Renovated 11,460 existing square feet of house
-
Upgraded plumbing and electrical systems
-
Increased group study space and provide computer labs on each floor
-
Created a lecture hall/chapter room in the first floor addition allowing speakers and group presentations to enhance our members’ educational experience at the chapter house
-
Captured the look of a traditional fraternity house by redesigning the facade
